STUDENT LIFE
Assumption Catholic School offers a wide variety of after school activities for its students.
Students in grades K-3 can take ballet and jazz and students in grade 4-7 can take Hip Hop dance classes.
Also, Assumption offers a school band for students in grs. 3-8 as well as a string orchestra for grades 1 - 8.
Our drama and music club is open to all students in grs. 5-8 who wish to join. A yearly musical is performed by the students under the direction of our music director. The students have performed in "Oklahoma," "Wizard of Oz," "My Fair Lady,"The Music Man," "Bye Bye Birdie, and "Pirates of the Carribbean."
Our sports program consists of varsity and JV basketball teams for students in grs. 4-8 for both boys and girls. There is a softball team for girls in grs. 6-8. The teams play in a number of leagues and touraments throughout the season.
